背景BACKGROUND
值此“生物多样性超级年”之际，联合国《生物多样性公约》第十五次缔约方大会将在中国昆明召开。这意味着生物多样性保护不仅是可持续发展中的重要因素，更是中国生态文明建设的基础。
然而当下生物多样性问题尚未成为中国金融机构决策流程中的重点考虑因素。资金、管理和有效工具的欠缺仍然是中国生物多样性保护面临的巨大挑战。
本次对话旨在提高此背景下中国主流金融机构对生物多样性融资的认识，并与金融部门和环境部门的利益相关者建立伙伴关系。
Considering the convening of CBD COP 15 in 2021, the Super Year of biodiversity, in Kunming, China, biodiversity conservation is not only among the key issues of the sustainable development, but also the foundation for China’s advancing of ecological civilization.
However, the biodiversity issues haven’t been set as the priority by Chinese financial and environmental sectors. The shortages of funding, governance, and applicable tools are still big challenges faced by the biodiversity conservation in China.
In this background, this dialogue aims to raise Chinese mainstream financial institutions’ awareness about biodiversity financing, and partnering financial and environmental stakeholders.
