The 15th Conference of the Parties under the UNFCCC was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 7 to 18 December 2009. The meeting did not meet a legally biding climate agreement, but still contained some positive results. Developed countries pledged to provide US$ 100 billion to climate fund by 2020 per year, in order to support developing countries to address climate change.
