One of the main tasks of this negotiation was to agree on the text of the elements of the post-2020 climate agreement. The other one is to ensure what upfront information would be submitted in INDC under the new agreement’s framework. Besides, developing countries also wanted to push forward ADP procession to reach an ambitious resolution on pre-2020 emission reduction.
