“Building an Equitable Green Economy” is a stock-take of practical experiences and an exploration of global opportunities. We try to define the “green economy” as a tool to help promote sustainable development which is not yet specifically proposed. Our approach is also a fundamental practice, and we need to define an equitable green economy by linking the opportunities offered by the global context (such as the 1992 Rio Principles) and the practical implications of a fair transition to sustainable development. In the process, we will continue to identify a “flexible” definition to explain “equitable” and seek implementation of the program.
